We decided to use the possibility of comprehensive testing by antigen tests (POC Rapid Test) in order to be able to provide all our employees with the healthy and safe working environment even during the COVID-19 pandemic time and in order to carry on working without major personnel outages.
Therefore, we set up the improvised sampling point directly in our production plant in Kuřim on January 21, 2021, where all 120 currently present employees were gradually tested by certified medical staff. Three employees with positive results were immediately directed to home quarantine.
This step has proven to be the right in the current situation as it helps to capture asymptomatic patients in a work team, those who may unknowingly spread the infection otherwise. Therefore, we will carry on this testing. We believe that such specific practical experience can be an inspiration for other companies in their efforts to prevent uncontrolled spread of the disease in workplaces.
